At just 17, Kendall Jenner appeared in a stunning Vogue photo-shoot propelling her modelling career to greater heights.

There may be jealously looming as older sister and celebrity Kim Kardashian had to wait until the age of 31 for the chance to model in vogue. That is L'Uomo, Vogue, the Italian men's edition of the magazine.
Kendall Jenner, daughter to bruce Jenner seemed to be proud of what she has accomplished at such a young age, when tweeting a link to the magazine website, and
re-tweeting a post from the shoot's photographer Russell James, who
wrote: 'Congrats @KendallJenner on your Ms VOGUE cover. Rare few models
make it Vogue ever-especially by age 17!'
This week had been eventful for the teenager as she celebrated turning 17 with her family at their Calabasas home.

Facial Hair
Facial hair gives men the opportunity to sharpen up their look, portray a personality and show individuality. The temporary nature of facial hair, as is all hair allows both men and women to chop and change their appearance to suit themselves.
As males get to a certain age they dabble in growing, trimming and in some cases braiding their facial hair. Over time shaving and its time consuming nature may persuade many to ignore the razor and experiment.
Nothings permanent when it comes to facial hair, and seemingly the possibilities are endless.

Gibson Les Paul

Having splashed my cash on a Les Paul classic I asked myself the question, was it worth it? In this case yes. If the classic were not 20 year old and in a second hand condition i would definitely say no. The newer Gibson guitars do not live up to the legendary status thrown upon them by many guitar fanatics and the admirers of Slash.
The newer models are not worth the expensive price tag given to them, partly due to the shopkeepers understanding that there is a group of wealthy beginners capable of spending ridiculous amounts to become the envy of many.
My advice, buy an Epiphone Les Paul for a fraction of the price. I guarantee you that the comfort, sound, and reliability are the same, if not better than the overpriced so called heavyweight of rock and roll guitars.
Minimum Price Per Unit
Minimum price for alcohol only masked the embedded problems with society.
Whilst at university, I am more than certain that David Cameron consumed more than five pints in one night. This of course, is now deemed to be ‘binge-drinking’.
Certainly the government should do everything it possibly can to solve many of the problems that surround the use of alcohol, such as violence. But taking into account legal teenagers and young adults, nothing plausible can stop the likes of university students drinking the level of units now deemed dangerous by the Conservative party leader.
The aim of tackling drunk and disorderly behaviour and wholly the cost to the NHS due to the UK’s drinking culture is a good thing. Alcohol abuse in particular costs the taxpayer around £120 a year, a needless drain of resources.
The over-indulgence of alcohol and the destructive nature of alcohol dependency are key aims in order to lower the cost to the taxpayer and of course the overall health of those involved with alcoholism.
A focus on stopping those adamant on drinking by slightly increasing drink prices behind the bar as well as the counter will only end up with failure. A minimum price per unit will not remove the drinking culture, and if the government realises this they need to aim the embedded problems in society. A price change may not instantly affect the demand for alcohol straight away, as those in the age region of 18-25 are more than willing to pay for drinks, especially when at a bar or club that prices their drinks ridiculously high anyway.
Factors such as an individuals ability to consume a variety of units of alcohol also affects their willingness to buy drinks. Those who have already had a few to drink may be less wary of the price of their fourth or fifth drink.
The main factor revolved around the efforts to reduce binge drinking is the 40p minimum price per unit. Mainly to stop the “pre-loading” done before people do go out to buy alcohol at a bar or club. This “pre-loading” idea was put forward by Theresa May, the Home Secretary.
I believe that the raise in alcohol prices when buying from a supermarket will still not affect the demand. For those in a student mind frame, many will believe that drinking before will be a lot cheaper than buying alcohol at various overpriced bars and clubs, as well as the taxi fare included in getting to different places.
For students, the concerns lay around the costs rather than the health risks. The government do however have the health of those involved at the front of their mind, which I do admire. The health risks that run alongside the overuse of alcohol are too dangerous, with a projected 900 less deaths with the minimum 40p price per unit, along with 50,000 fewer crimes related to alcohol.
With irresponsible drinking believed to cost the UK £21bn a year and being the foot at almost one million alcohol related violent crimes the price increase is for the better. Though I do believe that the government could change the ways in which they target the over usage of alcohol, the gradual consequences from a slight increase will lead to a more productive Britain.
The money saved through the proposal can be used to improve other sectors of the government, aiding the whole population. In the first year alone, more than £80 million in health and crime costs would be saved in the first year, rising to £140 million after ten years.
David Cameron insisted that “...This will not hurt pubs. A pint is two units. If the minimum price is 40p per unit, it won’t affect the price of a pint”. Although other vodka based drinks shall rise.
With the government aiming to raise the price of alcohol, and the companies involved in the production of alcohol following the plans with an interest in weaker drinks becoming more popular, I back the motives behind the proposal. The image of Britain has been tainted in the past due to the overuse of alcohol, so the proposal is key in moulding a new generation of a health wary population.
For though of you who aim to exploit and stab at the proposal but forward, a governmental view should not be taken. With the health of the UK at the forefront of the Conservative party’s mind, it shouldn’t matter who supports who, I am more than certain that if another opposition party where in the same situation, a similar stance would be taken.
Joe’s - Camden
A Breath of Fresh Air
Experiencing the night life in London for the first time lived up to the high expectations as the capital. Though I did not visit a lot of the well-known bars and clubs to the south of the capital I did manage to thoroughly enjoy Camden. Amongst the drug dealing youths and the drunken elderly I found a bar that I believe is one of the best I have truly been able to soak in the atmosphere.
Dedicated to the olden days, Joe’s is a 1950’s style joint that rings to the sound of a long forgotten playlist and the old rustic feel to the bar allows the guests to engulf themselves in the past, and forget the present.
Referred to as the new heart of Camden, the busy, friendly nature of the bar shall soon attract larger hoards of want-to-be guests. So experience Joe’s as you have room, as a guest list beckons.

Remedies for Insomnia
What works, and what doesn’t?
What we do during the day affects how we sleep. Seems simple. You may think that the amount of exercise that we undertake has the largest affect on how well we sleep. This is true, however there are larger factors that affect the way we sleep, as well as our change in sleeping patterns.
The tension, stress and anxiety that comes with everyones day to day routine can keep you awake at night. Worrying about work or relationships unsettles the mind, making us think about the next day and the consequences of our actions.
Insomnia is a big problem, affecting mood, decision making and how we behave from day to day.
Having witnessed my housemate suffer from a lack of sleep, keeping him up to until early hours I have decided to help more of you out there with a few sites.
Anchorman 2 - The Legend Continues
Following the success from the first Anchorman film, many fans have questioned the need for a second film.
Released in 2004, ‘Anchorman - The Legend of Ron Burgundy’ made $28.4 million in its opening weekend and $90.6 million worldwide in its total theatrical run. In the planning stages the sequel was first scrapped in 2012, however this year Will Ferrell appeared on the American chat show ‘Conan’ where he announced that the sequel would be going ahead. It is set for theatrical release on December 1, 2013.
Though many highly anticipate the release of the film, many fans believe that the same heights cannot be reached.
Many believe that the film may flop, ruining the reputation of the first. I, a fan of the film believe that the film will make as much, if not more from viewers around the world. However, falling short of the first film quality wise may taint a story I believe should be left as it is.
Malcolm in the Middle - Where are they now?
The turn of the 21st Century saw the American television sitcom ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ become a household favourite across the world. Following the life of Malcolm and his dysfunctional family allowed the audience to laugh, cringe and in particular, relate to the life of a suburban household.
The cringeworthy realization of Reese’s failure to prove his Mother wrongdoing, only to result in further punishment became a reoccurring favourite of mine.
Having not watched the show since the finale on May 14th 2006, flashbacks from my childhood soon became clearer after the opening theme reminded me of easier days. The theme from the song ‘Boss of Me’ by They May Be Giants perfectly captured what I, my brother and the majority of my friends thought about life, teachers and of course, parents.
“You’re not the boss of me now and you’re not so big”.
These words were often said behind the backs of teachers we believed to be against us. I’m still pretty sure that a few were. But more perfectly, the ending line of the song captures how those born in the 90’s felt at the time.
“Life is unfair”.
If we thought that we had it hard at the time, I wish I had known how twisted life was going to get. I think I would have been a bit more grateful. What i’d give to go back and have the whole day of worrying where i’d left my Gameboy.
That’s life, and the realization that six years had flown by since the end of such an influential sitcom had shut its books got me thinking. Where are they now?
Seeing where the likes of Hal, Lois, Reese, Malcolm and Dewey had ended up shows that what they did involving ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ has hugely affected their career path, and the lives of millions across the planet.

Media
The 21st century has seen the rapid technological evolvement of the media. The traditional broadsheet and the radio have been replaced by the use of the 'world wide web' to suit the masses. With the need to be up to date becoming evermore important the web seems a quicker and more efficient form of broadcasting information; opposed to the limited capacity that the traditional forms of broadcasting offers.
Unfortunately, the use of paper is dying. The use of electronic devices to show the news has taken over, due to the frequent updating available, along with there not being a problem with space (like in a standard tabloid or broadsheet).

Presidential Elections - Romney / Obama
All eyes from across the world are following the US presidential election today as voters head out to cast ballots. The race for The White House nears its end, with many predicting a tight finish between the current US President Barack Obama and the Republican party's nominee for President, Mitt Romney.
The decision that the voters make will impact the course of the next four years on a number of areas that affects the whole of the population as well as those abroad. How the government spends its taxpayers money, taxes themselves, the healthcare situation and structure of it and foreign policy challenges including the nucleaur ambitions of eastern countries such as Iran and the rise of the next super power, China.
Unofficial opinion polls show that the two candidates for the position are too close to predict a strong leader, so the importance of certain vital states such as Ohio and Colorado is key. At the moment, the Democrats have a slight advantage involving the key, vital states, such as Ohio. This could give Obama the 270 electoral votes he needs to win.
This year has seen record spending by both party's involving negative ads. Focusing mainly on the lagging economic recovery and persistent high unemployment, as well as sometimes getting personal.

Campaign teams continue to persuade mutuals and those who are 'not so sure' at the last minute to mobilise supporters.
I believe that Obama will have the upper hand going into tomorrow. If enough people are as opinionated about opinion and the economic situation as I am, the US President will have another term at the top.

Super Bowl - 2013
With no stand out teams to favourite this seasons accent to the Super Bowl, many pundits believe that there are a dozen teams worthy of a place in the play offs. Unlike last season where the Green Bay Packers stood heads above the rest, many teams stand with a better win to loss ratio.

Halloween World Records
When it comes to world records on Halloween, I think of the largest pumpkin, or the largest group of people celebrating the evenings events. These records however were far from what I expected.

Paris Masters - 2012
David Ferrer emerges victorious through two sets to defeat Jerzy Janowicz in the final of the 2012 Paris Masters.
2012 has been a successful year for Ferrer, another Spaniard who had fallen into the shadow of former world number one Rafael Nadal during recent years. Though the injury sustained by Nadal may be a blow for the sport, it has patched the way for other players to progress further in tournaments. The likes of Ferrer and Andy Murray who for the last five years have been pushing to enter the famed top four in World Tennis. For Ferrer, 2012 has bought him seven trophies, including the Valencia Open and the Copa Claro, Argentina.
The Spaniard won his first Masters event after beating the first qualifier in eight years to make the final in Paris, Jerzy Janowicz 6-4 6-3. Ferrer, the fourth seed at the tournament defeated the world number 69, who had managed to beat five other players inside the top 20 in the world rankings, including Andy Murray, en route to reaching the final.
Janowicz tried his hardest to mount any pressure but the experienced Ferrer wrapped up the win after one hour 27 minutes.

"I was very nervous because it was my chance to win a first Masters title but somehow I knew this time was my turn," said the Spaniard.
Ferrer now travels to London to compete in the London Masters on Monday.
Cardinals @ Packers
The Lambeau Stadium held witness to a Packers side looking to continue their winning streak against a Cardinals side hoping to halt a four game losing streak after starting the season strongly.
The Packers went into the game with a fraction of their starting line up, offensively and defensively injured with Jordy Nelson, Bryan Bulaga, and Clay Matthews but still grinded out a win against the Arizona Cardinals 31-17.
Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed the game with only 14 completed passes. Four of which resulted in a touchdown, in particular a 72 - yard throw cutting the Arizona up the middle to find Tom Crabtree to put the game to bed.
Randall Cobb and James Jones filled in for the injured again and subsequently caught three touchdown passes.

What to do - Apocalypse
Seeing as my fascination for the television series The Walking Dead still hasn't faded, the circumstances that the characters have had to face in the first three series has made me think... What would I do?
Guessing from what the characters have done best and where they have been the safety, I believe that the best thing to do during an apocalypse is to stock up on supplies and stay out of view. Of course, if I were put in the situation I'm sure that I would act differently.
For your owns sake, read what those who know about it have to say. Just in case.
